Overview
On this riveting 2-hour guided walking tour led by a Ph.D. in film and knowledgable museum staff, you'll step inside a former correctional center's barbed-wire gates and imposing 19th-century fortress-style walls. While inside, you'll experience firsthand the prison's sally ports, cellblocks, chapel, cafeteria, yard, and solitary confinement. Finally, you'll take a seat in the darkened gym to hear about Hollywood's century-long relationship with Old Joliet Prison, including cinema's role in Illinois prison reform. LOW ATTENDANCE POLICY This speciality tour, offered only a few times per year, needs at least 20 guests to run. In the event we must cancel because of low ticket sales, we will notify you via email and then refund you in full. WAIVERS Guests must sign to 2 general waivers of liability: 1 with the Joliet Area Historical Museum and 1 with Chicago Movie Tours. Guardians must sign waivers for children under the age of 18.

Airport pickup and hotel check-in

Day 2
Dubai City Tour and evening Dhow cruise with dinner

Depart from the hotel after breakfast at 9:30am for the Dubai City Tour. See old and new Dubai, from the man-made Palm Jumeirah to the iconic Burj Al Arab and the historic Al Fahidi Fort. Head to the Gold and Spice Souks for the aromas and colors of traditional Arabia. In the evening, board a traditional dhow for a two-hour dinner cruise along Dubai Marina with live entertainment and stunning skyline views.

Day 3
Dubai Frame tour and afternoon desert safari with BBQ dinner

Visit the Dubai Frame at 10am for a glimpse of the city's old and new sides from the 150m-high bridge. In the afternoon, head out to the desert for dune bashing, camel rides, and a Bedouin-style camp experience with a BBQ dinner, henna painting, and a live Tanoura dance show.

Day 4
Burj Khalifa tour with Musical fountain show and Dubai Mall shopping tour
The Dubai Mall
At leisure until 4pm, then transfer to The Dubai Mall — home to the world's tallest dancing fountains, an indoor aquarium, and the largest Gold Souk in the world. Ride to the 124th floor of the Burj Khalifa for panoramic views of the city, then enjoy the evening Musical Fountain show before returning to the hotel.

Check out and drop to airport
Dubai
Check out and your chauffeur will drop you at the airport. Standard check-out time is 12pm; late check-out may be available on request, subject to availability.
